e36 328i fixup for our sisters 21st

Recommended Posts

Hellow my fellow members,

Well it is going to be my little sisters 21st birthday in a while.

She worked real hard, saved and saved finally picked up for a silver e36 328i with lowish kms.

She had all these plans of how she was going to lower it, mags, exhaust this that this that.

Everything seemed fine until she took the car for a w.o.f ... ummm lets just say she came back with a bloody big list of stuff that needed replacing.

She was very upset. We know she loves her car and always takes good care of it. Well just aswel you have two loving brothers.

Had a talk with my brother and the plan is to fix it all up then suprise her :)

Yep control arm bushes front & rear, front & rear brake rotors, pads, front and rear shocks, needs new tyres all round and some other little things that dont come to mind.

The extras:

Front msport lip, black kidney grills, aftermarket muffler possible decat but not sure? 18" deep dish rims, dobi springs, when all is done it should look smart and handle like a e36 should :)

Its funny what you have lying around your house, no need to buy a msport front lip anymore my brother found this 1 under his bed :)

Deep dish rims, we will have to roll the gaurds on the rear for these to fit along with stretch tyres.

Tyres are exspensive so will wait till i can afford those. Front and rear brake rotors turned up too :)

Hey everyone :) spent time after work during the week and today fixing what needed to be fixed.

Did control arms and bushings, installed the springs along with shocks, put front lip on, all break rotors done. Fitted new tyres, 225/40/18 on fronts & 235/40/18 on rear. Welded up this powerpro muffler and shhhyt it sounds really nice i took it for a spin haha. All that is left to do is fix her seat belt, wheel alignment and then Gods will it should pass :)

We removed the wheels and have left the car looking standard and up on a jack.

Okay so tomorrow morning we are going to fit the wheels and give her car a polish up, when she wakes up we will suprise her !

Cheers guys :)

It's really amazing what a bit of work does on an otherwise stock/cheapish e36. Black spoiler is a good choice too!
