320 at the Panel GODS

Recommended Posts

Here are a couple of Pics. Dropped it off on way to work this morning.

Was time for a tidy up. Nothing to special or serious.

Will post a pic when I get it back on the road next week.

I don't like the taste of bugs, put it on the trailer.

Nice and light is right. Took it for a spin yesterday in the rain. Not to flash on the traction I tell ya.

So you're doing a complete change of colour?

That's great - I'd love to able to do that - but I'd always through the costs were prohibitive. For instance, painting in the engine bay etc. Maybe when my car gets older and paid off or some bugger prangs into it

My brother in law had a white '83 Alpina which looked cool with the red and blue striping.

Not painting the engine bay until I do a motor swap. Basically what i have done is inside the doors, door shuts, bonnet shut and boot shut. The underside of the boot and bonnet will be painted at a later date also. The boot lid “might” have the underside covered in fabric also.

To date the costs aren't to high at all. Panel $700. Paint $220 for paint and $300 to be sprayed. Headlining $290, Dark carpet $110, Door cards $65, Wheels $1046 incl Studs and nuts, Tyres $600, Springs $375

not at all. They are just the wheels on it while in the booth and assembly. Friday I should have pics of the finished package up. Stay tuned.

The trick to getting a clean white is to use straight 2K white tinter. Needs plenty of coats but you wont get a cleaner white any other way.
