My new 525d e60

Recommended Posts

Here the first pic from my new 525d with partikelfilter (no black smoke at all). I have the car 1 month now and is the replacement for my Volvo 2004 S80 D5.

Option's:

535d wheels 17"

M5 steeringwheel

Visionline

Business II

Executive II

TV sat/nav

and soon a chip that brings the car to 470Nm/218bhp

I did at some autobahns 235 km/h already...

Next month maybe some last rounds with the 525d at the Nordschleife for this year (winter is comming :(

Number 16 of this month a last visit to the Ring with the 323ti and some friends who bought de 130i already.

Money.

Is the d cool to drive?

I have never been in a 'new' diesel, do they lack the engine 'spirit' of petrol?

that was classic. Wasn't she swiss or swedish tho?

Anywho - nice car that 5er - from what I hear, you'd want the diesel over the petrol. They go hard.

Hello again Marcel

Nice 5er... are the diesels up there with petrol? that 218hp with a chip sounds pretty damned good.

Thanks for the compliments,

Yes, grey is hot in Europe. I took this color because you won't see all the dirt so easily on it. Just put it in the carwash ones a month B)

The diesels from BMW are awesome. They sonds just like every other 6 in line from BMW. I love that torgue everytime i push the pedal to the metal.

Even the 6 gear Steptronic works very well. I use it a lot.

10 minutes a lap.....come on....i'm not on my MTB :P

That is awesome! Have you got any more pictures of it? Like a front shot and interior etc.

Does it have traction control? Or does it have the ass slide out on it like no mans business?

well done with your choice.

we dont get the 525d in NZ, but i did however deliver a new one which was privately imported (bmw nz has no spares, tool etc so the guys f*cked) and it went really well indeed! i actually thought it was a 530i until i got out afterwards and looked!

drove a 530d today and although you know its not a 3 litre petrol it NOT like any deisel i hve ever driven, its very very impressive,i think anyone who drove one would be impressed. It may lack the very last tenth or whatever in accel and top speed but normal driving it was just amazing....open road driving i dont think you would ever need to change down..
