"Tagging" people to posts

Hi, just wondering is there a function to "tag" users in posts which will give them a notification showing which post they are tagged in? A function such as typing a "@" followed by a username.

yes have wondered that before. rather that than the facebook like thing you can now do

Oops.. just realised I typed "Fagging" on the topic title. Honest mistake (look how close the T and F are!). Just a thought to make it easier to get hold of someone to notify them of a upcoming meet, etc.
