Hi, my 2000 540i Doesn't have reverse gear. Was wanting to get a replacement auto trans or manual conversion done. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks.

can do all the parts for conversion except the manual gearbox it self ,

like driveshaft , flywheel , clutch , shifter levers , pedals etc

but this guy here has the gearbox

That gearbox price is a joke. Import one from the states yourself for less than half that shipped.

Takes a bit of searching. But you should be able to get them here for under $1500 landed for a 420G with the V8 bell housing.

They have plenty of 540i Manuals in the states.
