SRBMW 6 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Hmm - have throttle bodies on wish list , Let me know when your ready! Do any of those driveshafts fit onto the 98mm diameter guibo / doughnut? Yes what are your trying to do? what car and diff?
E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Need a driveshaft for my E30 race car, S14 with Getrag 265/5 and 4.1 small case diff (pretty sure the diff end is always the same - but could be wrong). Front section to centre hanger needs to be about 630mm, rear section, about 840mm from hanger to flange.
euroriffic 609 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Just doing my homework to find out if they will fit onto an M52 B28 with no dramas Can't remember who on here has done it on their bagged e30 but can be done. Think an adapter plate needs made up and some porting
///MPROVD 131 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Yeah I heard adaptor plates need to fit. the e30 you mentioned had a m54 engine from memory.probs not much performance gains tho
Greg111 13 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Not much gain??? Six throttles all slightly smaller than the one throttle body that's on an M54! Way more air =way more power.
///MPROVD 131 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Just had a quick look for gains on m54 looks like almost 50hp gain thats pretty good not to mention the torque gains but looks pricey to build the adaptor tho could be worth while if you have access to design and development
