Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 10, 2014 Hey guys, I've got a little issue I've noticed on my previous E36 axles and the newer ones I've installed where upon light deceleration or a change in direction like forward to reverse, occasionally the right and / or left CVs give a light biddable 'click' sound. Is this normal for E36 CVs with a bit of age? Is it just a sign they are getting tired or maybe due to be repacked with grease? Any input would greatly appreciated. Cheers Mike

Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 10, 2014 Might be a sign they werent designed with a 4L v8 in mind ! haha, true. But they only do it when my gearbox shifts from 4-3 or 3-2 with no throttle.. its very strange. But yeah, maybe they are getting stressed? Then again I'm not putting out big torque or anything..
