Driftit 2069 Report post Posted April 23, 2014 I have asked a question. Awaiting reply. But one major issue with BMW lights is that the clear coat fails. Not the plastic. Most places will just polish/cut off the old clear coat. This makes the lights look great for about 3 months. Then the plastic starts to get damaged. They need to be re-cleared. There is a way around this however. You can buy a product like this. And apply it every few weeks. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical_Guys_WAC_118_16_JetSeal_16_oz_p/wac_118_16.htm

Driftit 2069 Report post Posted April 24, 2014 Is around $150 through GT Refinishers in Penrose. They do a great job.
Matth5 471 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) $150? May as well just buy new headlight lenses. For the older (non-facelift) e46 a pair of new OEM lenses is about $150 including shipping from Ebay. Locals wrecker are probably much cheaper for a good secondhand set.
