E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted September 30, 2014 I'm not 100% on the scrappage scheme as it started after my time in the UK, but I doubt many, if any of those cars would have been in good condition. I have part exchanged a rusty shell that was just about rolling to get a discount before, I wonder how many of those were of a similar condition? There were many wasted good, normal cars in the American Cash for clunkers program 5 -6 years ago. Youtube has plenty of footage of some really nice cars that could sell for good money back in NZ.
