petone 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 (edited) you forgot vt@k sticker, he could be losing valuable hp. welcome to site, your car would be pretty similar to mine. Don't do any mods yet, just make sure its all sweet mechanically and theres no rust. Give it a service (fluids and filters) unless you know it was done recently. These cars are slow but will take a beating. Just drive it for a while and see what you like or don't like about it. Before you ask the engine ain't worth spending any money on other than servicing, pod filter etc don't do sh*t for performance. lastly dnt rite n txt c0s it wil p1ss ppl of k? Good to see you didnt get an auto bimmer, and fully do a service and get everything checked out before you do anything to it thats a good bit of advice, i made that mistake and it cost me Edited November 21, 2005 by nz320i
Dnz 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Omg im not sure if he understands sarcasm.. youll be sorry when he gets all that stuff. Seriously, dont bother with half that stuff. Make sure it goes right, then get an mtec1 kit. And remember, no chrome ever. EVER.
E30stz 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 if your 15 I'm guessing your still on your learners ? Dont be doing major performance mods just yet as you will burn on insurance and oi ! ... insurance is hte best mod you can put on your car, infact its a requirement. I suggest your first work on the car be 1) Insurance if you haevnt done it already 2) Full BMW service 3) New tyres if you need them dont go wasting ur money on mods untill your've got all that other stuff done. Some owners generally leave some work to be done on the car when it actualyl goes to sell so it would pay to get that major first service outa the way. petone 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Why waste money on a BMW service? its a 20year old 318i, not a M3. Either do it yourself or just get your normal mechanic to do it. If you got all the tools and someone who can help then do the service yourself, I just taught myself doing stuff on my car. Don't listen to that other guy who said no chrome, Chrome is good. Just make sure its only on your bumpers and grill.
