e90 with 147k km...good idea?

At what milage do things start to play up with an e90? This one www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-833726982.htm has been on trademe for 6 months now and hasn't sold. It has twice the k's of a lot of other 2006 e90s however

Those E90 320i's seem to have a lot of issues, the inline 6 , ie 323i seems to have less problems.

Hmm that's good to know. The 320 seems to be the most common e90 in NZ...so even one with say 60k on the clock would be best avoided?

With that much mileage under it's belt it's probably had the annoying engine problems sorted... although they're probably due to start over again.

with the N43 i dont think youre ever really going to "sort" the problems...

there are plenty of the better inline 6 (323i/325i) models around.

i have one for sale on behalf of a friend that has done 90'ks and its msport, black etc

avoid all 318 and 320 is the general consensus.
