WTB: MAF sensor for M62 V8

Recommended Posts

Im trying to source a MAF sensor for the m62 v8 but instead of it going in a BMW its going in a 2004 Range Rover Vogue.

Ive been in touch with Ray at HellBm.

Is there anywhere else in NZ? BMW wanted $700 odd out of germany. LR NZ wanted over $900!!

Cheeky sods.

If all else fails i'll get one out of the states or the UK but was hoping to find one quickly.

Cheers guys

man.... I could have given you my old pair when I replaced them in my M5 I think they were the same but they ended in the rubbish when we moved. A clean up and they probably would have tied you over.

I got mine from here:

http://www.bimmerzone.com/category/BMW_Performance_MAFS.html

pretty quick on the shipping and the cheapest I found

I'll have a poke around at lunch but I'm pretty positive everything that wasn't 100% needed or new got binned. The pains of moving house after 8 years!

The M5 maf housings are slightly smaller than the 540i ones. The actual M5 MAF sensor itself I think fits in the 540i maf housing though.

I've got a good working one for an E39 540i in my garage i think - i'll check and come back to you.

I've got one if you still need one. Have a whole 540 to part out too.
