E46 driver side window wind up very slow.

Recommended Posts

Mine is the same. Possibly a tired motor?

It's a good exercise in patience... At least, until it stops working completely!

Not yet...I got quoted $140 - so ordered the part off eBay which was $10 includ. shipping and I'll fix it myself. See if that sorts it

thanks guys, I came here looking for precisely this issue today; last night I noticed the front passenger window was very slow to wind back up.

SO I replace the regulator for that door... are the rest of them likely to fail soon? 2002 e46, 147k kms.

cheers

Olaf

One after the other unfortunately.... depends which get used the most. If you have a passenger & kids in & out of the car every day. Make sure the membrane is not damaged and sealed correctly or you will have damaging water ingress

thanks for the swift response, and solid advice, Glenn.

I got it all sorted today by Page in Wellington, back to swift and un-hesitant window lifts.

I'll keep an eye out for the others going.

Olaf
