Just bought me self a 2001 e39 530i Motorsport :)

Hi everyone.

Im back after losing my e36 323i Motorsport (got stolen from town, never recovered) years and years ago. I thought ill treat my self with another BMW so i got a 530i Motorsport. Need avice !!!!! Please !!!!

Is anyone on here kind enough to take a look at my babe and help me out to diagnose few problems i have ?

The car is still under dealers warrenty till the 27th of August and i would really appritiate if i could get someone to take a good look through the car and help me to pin point the bad.

so that car was in such bad condition you needed a refund not just repair? wow what was wrong with it?

Faults found:
Rocker cover leaking- previously repaired
Lower induction elbow hose split
Fuel pressure regulator hose broken
No positive crankcase vacuum (PCV valve ?)
Headlight adjusters broken
Windscreen washer hoses & jets need attention
Tool kit lock nut stripped
Vanos hose leaking
Oil filter remote housing leaking
Possible sump gasket as well
Vibration in front brakes under braking
Front rotors @ 28.8 minimum 28.4
After market front disc pads
Thrust arm bushes split- lost oil
Stone tray not secured properly
Guard liners need replacing
Slight leak from power steering hoses
Signs of recent overheat- thermostat housing
replaced
Radiator leaking from lower R/H header tank
.... Has previously had new radiator (Nissen
Brand)
Water pump pulley cracked
Non genuine coolant
Water pipes for heater system under manifold perished (ready to explode)
Pressure test on cooling system not carried out
.
Historical fault codes:
Passengers seat occupancy sensor fault
Misfire cylinder 6
Thermal oil level sensor

What out peeps Vision Auto Sales in New Lynn looks like their workshop is giving doggy WOF and aweful customer service

Glad you managed to get your money back, and good on Glenn for being so thorough in the inspection. Hopefully you manage to find a nice example.
