Market Value for E36 6 speed (M3 Evo) manual?

well on the S54 post ray said 2k for one of these im not sure if he was quoting with clutch and stuff tho.

ZF 5sp full conversions minus clutch usually run about 1400-1500ish, I'd say 1750 for the 6sp gearbox is well priced, especially when compared with Ray's at 2k (f it was just gearbox).

Aside from the cool factor of having six forward speeds the only advantage to the Evo box is a proper overdrive. Difficult to justify if you do the majority of your driving in an urban environment but invaluable if you do a lot of open road touring.

As Rubix said above, $1500 will get you a full ZF 5 speed conversion - the 6er needs an Evo driveshaft, and you'll need to confirm what shifter links it needs too. I'd struggle to justify it unless it was being used on a S50/54 conversion or something like Toasts Kellener E36 - adds to the desirability c/o the rare factor.

Then again, if you've always wanted a 6-speed E36 this is a pretty good opportunity!
