F1: AMG Petronas - Hamilton or Rosberg?

Toto Wolff, boss of the AMG Petronas F1 Racing team, is threatening to drop one of the two drivers if they can't get along.

Sky Sports has reported the relationship between Hamilton and Rosberg is at an all-time low and that they very rarely even speak to each other.

Wolff has said that "if it were to become detrimental to the team that would mean that we would not maintain the long-term set-up in the team with the drivers."

He went on to talk about team spirit and that while Hamilton and Rosberg are competitors on the track, any rivalry must not overflow in the pits - such competition is not good for team dynamics.

Seems an odd thing to say given the number of Mercedes 1-2 finishes last season, but it sounds like he's playing a much longer game.

They will be dropping Rosberg. can't drop the world champion can we?

Mercedes = German (overall company not F1 team)

Rosberg = German

Hamilton = British

There's always intra team rivalries years later they will look back and realise it made them better drivers. They can make up and hug it out when they have retired.

For now I for one want to see them have at it

Hamilton is a d*ck, but he is the better driver.

Rosberg is a much nicer guy and more of a team player, but has the tendency to choke.

Both resigned 'multi year' contracts last year.

They'll end up keeping both, there isn't anywhere for them to go and who could realistically replace them (and is available)?

Still voted for Hamilton though, as if there one to keep it'd have to be him, proven he can do it and the kicking he got from Rosberg when all his partying got to him will surely motivate him to refocus for next year.
