M3AN 4016 Report post Posted December 16, 2015 If it's original they can trace it back from the VIN I believe. But they should have been able to tell you that???

allan 295 Report post Posted December 16, 2015 Have you tried here https://www.radio-code.co.uk/philips-radio-codes.html. It appears that some units are coded to the cars vin number in the factory and can only be decoded by a main dealer if your lucky. While others are just coded and the code can be obtained by using a site like the one above. To do this it appears you could need the following info vin number off the car, radio make, model, serial number, bar code if present. It's a real pain in the arse and everybody want $$$$ off you to do it if you are unable to do it yourself it soon adds up. best of luck
