gjm 3258 Report post Posted January 22, 2016 I go to thinking. Recent work highlights the mileage our 320d has covered, and the wear and tear won't be restricted to bushes. Diesel injectors get tired, too. Maybe a little upgrade might be in order. The injectors from a 535d - the M57N engine - will drop straight in and (allegedly) give a useful increase in flow when complemented by a replacement turbo. That's nice. The price - isn't. $500. Each. Oh well... Standard performance isn't too bad, I suppose.
Young Thrash Driver 1020 Report post Posted January 22, 2016 Look for an engine that has lunched the swirl flaps and rob its injectors?

Allanw 1071 Report post Posted January 22, 2016 The price - isn't. $500. Each. Still cheaper than a D4D Hilux injector , and required less often!
