Repairing bent trim

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

The trim above my door got bent and I'm wondering whether this can be repaired or do I need to replace this? There's no doubt that this part will cost an arm and a leg from Jeff Gray BMW.

You won't be able to get it from Jeff Gray,

They don't exist anymore, new owners now. But yeah, new part would be expensive. Try and fix it first.

Pretty sure those trims are still made from metal, so more a panel beater task I would suggest.

Ok thanks! Think s panel beater would be interested in a little job like this? Know any good panelbeaters?

just find a spare part from any car wreckers. probably cost you $20

may have a challenge with relative scarcity of e93's in the wreckers, though worth a shot...
