Michael. 2313 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 (edited) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1368369290&permanent=0 As some of you may know I originally put the V8 in this car. Sadly not the same as it once was. Been nearly 3 years after I sold it. I de-spec'd it a lot before I sold it, but it was still a lot nicer than how it is now. Always hurts seeing old project cars after you sell them! When I had it: Ughhhhh Edited July 16, 2017 by Michael.
zero 1162 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Those blue silicon hoses look awful. Sorry for your loss.
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Thank you Nathan, It's been hard to get over. Jk Tbh, I suddenly got bored of the car at the time and knew the rare hydraulic suspension Soarer I have now was coming up for sale so put the two together and sold the E36 for 8k, not sure why the owner thinks he can get 11k for it, but anyway. Eagle 1659 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 Personally i can't stand blue hoses in any engine bay, so tacky.
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted July 16, 2017 I know right, like 101 tacky mods. Also weird the ignition leads are now blue, I put brand new toyota ones in it only 4 years ago. They last the best part of 15 years+
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted September 25, 2017 So I saw my old car in person today, was parked so had to have a quick look. Utterly neglected, spider webs, mold and gunk all over the place, paint pealing and rust all over the mangled flare wheel arches at the back. While it was despec'd when I sold it in 2014, it's sad to see it like this after I took such good care of it. Look at the state of this back yard pole wrenching on the rear arches, wtf! Even had random holes in the boot lid!

zero 1162 Report post Posted September 25, 2017 What a shame. Why do people do this?
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted September 26, 2017 13 hours ago, zero said: What a shame. Why do people do this? Unfortunate eh. Back when I was in love with the car I never wanted to sell it because I knew it would get mistreated. But you get over these things and I wanted the rare Soarer I have now so it kinda worked out. In hindsight I would have preferred using an E46 chassis like you are, much better platform IMO.
