Mad_Max 231 Report post Posted October 21, 2019 If you don't need them desperate urgently (only cause pouring rain down here) I may be able to get calipers and all the mounting hardware off an E39 540i (possibly rears, might just be fronts, have to check), or everything (front and rear) off an E38 740i - all will be second hand if that's any use? Thanks for the offer, but sadly E39 and E38 brake parts wont fit an E28!
User Name 19 Report post Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) Hi Guys/Gals, For your view pleasure, hope this file helps I would have to check the shed but pretty sure i have a set of 540i rears and E32 Fronts (complete or other way around its been a while) if i remember correctly it was the largest OEM i could fit under 15's without upgrading to porche or big brake kit (10 years ago) on my E28. I am probably just going to go with non oem brake upgrade next time round as my performance is past the stock brakes or maybe see if my 750il ones fit PM me if needed E28 Brake upgrade.rtf Edited October 22, 2019 by User Name Update

I had adapter brackets made to connect the e38 factory brembo brake option to fit e28's. rotor is hugh though, from a e60 550 from memory stopping power was/is quite eye opening. can't fit all 17" wheels, but will fit all 18's

I have to stick to what fits under 16" E32 wheels though!
