Sam7 15 Report post Posted November 4, 2019 (edited) Hi there, looking for some advice on the go to first maintenance bits to do on a car that has been stored for a decade in a garage, it has been run and driven occasionally (total 500km). What are the first things to get done and tackle. Any advice greatly appreciated! Cheers Edited November 4, 2019 by Sam7
C-130 Hercules 571 Report post Posted November 4, 2019 Hey Sam - replace rubber hoses, all the fluids, filters, check brake and fuel lines, check fuel tank for leaks, especially when you fill up past the seam. Also check brake pads and rotors...

Mad_Max 231 Report post Posted November 15, 2019 Also check for anything that you can grease, check condition of tyres for rot/perishing. Would also pay to drain the tank and use new fuel.
Sam7 15 Report post Posted December 5, 2019 Thanks for the advice from everyone that posted, was really helpful!. The car got everything done at Apex on the North Shore in Auckland by SJ, 11/10 recommendation. Don’t send your car anywhere else.
