Whatever you do don't take it to European Car Specialist in Puke ! Went once with a blown brake light bulb and owner was very quick to say the whole unit itself is faulty and needs total replacing. First question is do you have insurance to clam against.... never again ! Do some reviews on them before jumping in I suggest. Unfortunately can't think of any in Puke but I have mine service at Coobes Johnson in Hamilton. Been with them for over 6 years now .. best service ever in my opinion. ... and definitely MTA approved. :)

Interesting i had a similar experience years ago, had a pre purchase inspection done and the headlight pattern was off on one side. Shop owner told me it was a bad aftermarket headlight and i needed to buy one from him for $1000 or something. I just flicked the lhd, rhd lever on the headlight which fixed the pattern. Dude just walked off after that lol.

Agree with the suggestion of Coombes Johnston - by far best main dealer I've dealt with.

CJ in Hamilton (especially) are very good. Pro-active, won't sell you a line. Fabian in parts is one of the best.

I dont know anyone in Pukekohe either, but give a shout out to http://greghantzautos.nz/ as he did a really slick job on the 130 years ago.

Greg is good too. Looked after my 320d back when I was working in Hamilton.
