E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted May 29, 2020 Long distance tank option or the normal underfloor tank? Both are the same as the prefacelift common or garden E30 fuel tanks I believe..?
leichtbau 525 Report post Posted May 30, 2020 Tank is the same as the 6 cylinder and touring models, the 63L version. Sport Evo used the smaller 55L tank.
SNWMBL 3 Report post Posted June 1, 2020 It's the 55l that I'm after. I believe it's shared between early e30's.
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted June 11, 2020 @SNWMBL there’s a “genuine M3 one” for sale on S14.net at the moment. Which is a laugh as they are the same as all the pre-fl fuel tanks at 55l, the larger tank design was introduced with the facelift, nothing to do with the engine size. Bandit 194 Report post Posted June 11, 2020 Perhaps it is genuine in that it came from an E30 M3 Jon?
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted June 12, 2020 Yeah that’s where the seller is coming from, I can understand the M3 tax on the scarce and NLA specific parts, but when people jack the price of the common E30 parts as “genuine M3 bonnet” “M3 wheel bolt”, etc it’s a bit on the nose. C-130 Hercules 571 Report post Posted June 12, 2020 I bought one new from BMW, but that is a couple of years ago now. Didn't want to take the risk mucking around with a used one. My old one leaked out of the seam....
