SHRNTA 48 Report post Posted October 1, 2020 Hi all, Desperate times calls for desperate measure -reaching out to see if anyone can help out. I'm needing a 2nd hand ABS module part number: #34516756340 for an e39 525i 2001. VIN # WBADS42000BZ40641 Or if I can get mine refurbished. Auckland City BMW quoted a "bank loan" for a new one. Technician said was faulty module but those dont come one their own through their supplier. So hence seeing if you anyone has the above part and can also re-code. Car failed WOF because of it so have another 2 weeks to rectify. Thanks

SHRNTA 48 Report post Posted October 2, 2020 Trifecta lights on dash. ABS and ASC come on sometimes, consistently on when engine is warm. No issues braking when driving. Waiting to hear back from ECU.co.nz, sent him some details.

BreakMyWindow 1874 Report post Posted October 3, 2020 The repairs don’t last long. Ok if you’re planning to keep for a short while otherwise just buy new from fcp euro. No coding needed for the asc modules on m5x powered e39’s iirc.
