E63 56 Report post Posted June 29, 2023 After a bit of research, I think I'm gonna do a muffler delete and a Stage 1. If I can find an intake that isn't priced stupidly I'll do that too. E63 56 Report post Posted June 29, 2023 I asked about that today too. It seems pretty ambiguous. It seems like: Stage 1 - A tune to unlock factory potential. Stage 2 - A tune with all bolt-ons done. Talk to him directly rather than what their website quotes for power as it is not up to date. No plug in boxes used, an ECU remap or whatever it is called. promo 93 Report post Posted June 30, 2023 (edited) Anything custom i.e bigger injectors, turbo etc would be best on a Dyno if you want to achieve maximum gains. Flash tunes like stage 1, 2 are tested on thousands based on your model so yes preset. I use alttune who are based in Taupo. I can also do data logging if you wish to do maximum gains.
