BreakMyWindow 1987 Report post Posted July 16 Finally got the lci cluster working in this car and the pre-lci cluster working in the white 130i. Somehow the pre-lci cluster fitted to the white car went corrupt after disconnecting the battery so needed a new chip and re-programming. Track day next Sunday on re003’s, road pads and rooted shocks so not expecting it to go around the HD national circuit as well as my old Primera did, but with this being correct wheel drive it should be fun nonetheless. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BreakMyWindow 1987 Report post Posted July 27 Made it to HD, did 3x15 sessions and drove it home. 20 next year and with 224k kms. Good car, think i’ll keep it for a while. A little de-brief while it’s fresh on mind.… Likes: - Easy to drive, didn’t miss-shift and heel n toe is a breeze. - Heaps of grip and adjustability - Torque delivery. Coming from a cammed sr20ve that made noting until 5-9k rpm this was brilliant on corner exit. - When both rear tyres hooked getting on it early on corner exit Next time I’ll see how a set of b4s’s, m3 fr ctrl arms and better bushes for the gbox and rear subframe go and setup an in-car camera to catch a few laps. BreakMyWindow 1987 Report post Posted Friday at 03:35 AM For being such a good car have a treat. The Koni rear “Additional damper” I assumed came as a pair. Well for $115 you’d think so 🙄 Ordered a set of rear subframe inserts as well so should be a nice little transformation. Prepping the pillar trims for wrap. Nice n easy epoxy fill. Unfortunately my beloved bbs’s are throwaways. Hopefully getting a refund shortly. What I thought were 3 paint cracks confirmed worse by 3 repair shops.
