topnotchrally 127 Report post Posted February 9 One is E28 and one is E12. The seller seems to feel the E12 is significantly more valuable.

deedub 57 Report post Posted February 9 (edited) Maybe the E12's that continued after 1981, in SA, with the E28 interior are rare? That E28 was on trademe for a while. Then Sunday drive picked it up and cranked the price without any improvements (maybe they gave it a wash). Classic dealer. Bennyboy 205 Report post Posted February 10 I think a lot of the stock this dealer sells is on consignment - so the price is lead by the vendor + dealer margin etc etc
Eagle 1702 Report post Posted February 10 2 different cars. The E12 is much more rarer and manual, no idea what the actual market value would be though. The E28 is way overpriced given its an auto.

I didn't think E12 would be worth so much more. Especially considering the condition of the listing. That needs more work than the countries roughest M5 lol Edited February 10 by turboray82

Didn't know that. Looks like nothing has been done to it since the private listing though. Guess the vendor believes the lighting and photos will help fetch a higher price.
