E30 325i Rag-Top 2994 Report post Posted March 18 @Financial_Ruins needs a price for Bimmersporters please as per forum rules. I know there is a price on the TradeMe listing, but should also have the “Bimmersport” price in the thread.

I remember seeing this car around the internets quite a bit, used to be owned by an enthusiast for quite a few years, looked really well sorted and tastefully modified - was manual, lowered, had nice wheels, bucket seats, fully certified etc. At one point the owner got a chance to buy a cheap M3 so decided to let it go, couldn't find a buyer at the price he was happy with so made more financial sense to part out, which he did through Weitz who I guess put it back together with what they had. Some nice bits on it still but does have a bit of history. The cert probably works against it at this stage. 1
MD13 526 Report post Posted March 19 Nice car. If manual would be interested but imagine you'd want close to double the money and it still wouldn't get a WOF as no coil over suspension...
Eagle 1730 Report post Posted March 19 Still probably the best value E46 330 currently for sale, even if you add the $700? to de-cert it.

Something like that- A low Km drive train from a NZ new 330i was swapped into the shell, All the preventive work was done as well as a few tasty goodies. I tossed and turned about putting the ZF back into it but ultimately decided to return the car back to original OE+ spec due to the current cost of putting in the correct ZF trans. Plenty opportunity for the new owner to decide and priced at a point where both options are viable 🙂

If manual with coil overs I would most certainly be asking double, I Can arrange parts and installation if new owner chooses that path Otherwise I will give it a month and Decertify the car and up the asking price. After having a look on trademe there are multiple 330i's on the market with far less for a lot more so very comfortable with my asking price
