Neil McCauley 444 Report post Posted Saturday at 12:42 AM We took PA3330 on trade when the original owner bought a new 1M. I had a work day to come up with the $17k required to own it, got to $12k but sadly a bridge to far for a lowly dealership parts advisor at the time. I recall the Coombes Dealer principal grabbed it. Wonderful car.
E30 325i Rag-Top 3016 Report post Posted Tuesday at 08:44 AM The Coombes DP does have a very mint red M325i but it’s not that one.
Vass 1046 Report post Posted Tuesday at 11:34 AM Was at barber shop last month, grabbed a magazine to flick through while waiting and stumbled upon this article, my turn came up just as I finished reading it. Very cool to see such well looked after oldies.
Neil McCauley 444 Report post Posted Tuesday at 02:13 PM Pics: PA3330/AE54276 when we took it on trade and UN3871/AE53800 when I spotted it in Taihape post the Covid $62K sale. The other Brilliantrots: BMW649/AE53932 which is now caged with an M54. HOT325/AE54389 which has been off the road for some time. Haven't seen any other than these four in the last 25 years of monitoring open market sales. For reference - E30MS is actually Zinnobar and the entire kit was dealer fitted here in NZ - the headliner was beige when I looked at buying it in 2002.
