PowderPros - Powdercoating Review

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I don’t normally do this sort of stuff but thought I’d share my recent experiences, If you need any powder coating work I highly recommend the team at PowderPros in East Tamaki - Some brilliant work and really easy to deal with.

That stuff looks sweet, it's always good to get personal experience recommendations so thanks! For those I the Shore I can recommend Mikestan in Wairau valley, they've done me a couple of solids in the past.

@APT - didn't know you could powercoat springs... no risk of it degrading somehow from the compression/expansion?

That looks awesome. Do you mind sharing what it cost to get all of that done, even if just a ballpark figure? I've never gone down the powdercoating route assuming it'd cost an arm and a leg, would be good to know whether it's something I could swing in the future.

Hell yes Andrew, that looks bloody mint! And very good timing as I’m looking to dump a heap of E30 bits to get refurbished.

Gimme the run down on the brakes - were they blasted and powder coated?
