antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 According to BMW they don't use a key lock code Ahh well, Guess I'll have to find another way to get a good key.
Matty104 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 the lock will have a code on it, pop it out and take it to the locksmith, will cost all of about $

tire 10 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Door ones are reso simple. Push the tab that locks the cylinder on from the inside away (towards the back of the car).
Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 Couple quick ones, Is a handbrake warning light (i.e cluster), needed for a warrant ? Are sun visors also a WOF requirement also? Thanks

JiB 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 Have you got a cage yet Nath (lost track of the changes to your green monster)? My race car didn't have one 'cos it didn't fit with the cage in there. Perhaps there might be dispensation for MSNZ vehicles?
Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 ^ In the process of saving my pennies for one/getting the rest of the car sorted for having a cage. More than likely will put a tint strip in (current windscreen doesn't have one) but I want them there if they are needed if anyone can remember what happened to my previous E30 you would know why. Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted November 8, 2010 I got a warrant without them due to cage. Have a big tint strip but.

huff3r 347 Report post Posted November 9, 2010 Sunvisors are a WOF requirement Where it is practical to fit one. So if you had a reasonable excuse you wouldnt need one. Eg. my rollcage gets in the way
twisted 45 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 Will having a slightly higher profile tyre on the rear (255/40/18 where i think the correct profile is 255/35/18) Mess with my ZF's shift patterns on the open road? Specifically cause it to not want to shift up from 3rd after putting the boot in, meaning pulling 4kish rpm at 110ish.

Lucan 196 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 Price at getting one of them fixed glenn? Check your fuses if you haven't already.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 Check your fuses if you haven't already. Nothing to do with fuses Lukan... the warning light is on. To the OP: it needs to be scanned to determine the fault. Repair and then erase the fault code with the scanner
Lucan 196 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 Really? I've had a blown fuse before, the sensor was faulty at the same time and needed replacing too, so the fuse could have been something separate...but after replacing the fuse the warning light went away with a scan and reset and stayed off in the short time until I sold it on
gouba 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 when i replace my oil filter will my service light indicator automatically turn off in a e30 325i?No, but you can reset those easy enough with a bit of wire.
