  1. Hi all, Anyone interested in a potential project? selling my E36 328i, Automatic, Cosmos Black Coupe, Msport Kit, but has standard steering wheel so i assume at some point it was Msport kitted but not from factory? Bilstein setup on the rears, Boge on the front? LOL, previous owner to blame for that! But still feels tight. mileage sitting @131, XXX km's atm. I have owned the vehicle for a few years and never really used it much, probably travelled 8k in the past few years, have more than a few vehicles.. It is Definitely not a show car, there is a ding in the drivers door ( Pics to follow ) M3 Mirrors, and various paint imperfections. I purchased with the intention of doing her up, and did to a certain point but it is no longer a project i am attending to, will be travelling overseas next year so grab a quick bargain! It comes with partial service history, Jap import, previous owner was not an enthusiast.... i will be booking it in to BMworkshop Botany for a general service and checking for any maintenance work to be done. I am most interested to let this go to the BMW club members for a good price, $4250 ONO, feel free to get in contact via this post, PM, or contact number below. Also have a 3 Spoke E36 Msport steering wheel ( Yet to be installed ) which will complete the Interior Msport style. Pics will follow soon. Regards Peter. Contact me on : 02108439606
  2. Would be awesome to see you start a build post for this, looking great thus far, are you planning to track the bmw? Running getrag 5spd? I see you replaced the Vanos M50 with a N/V, Pretty cool indeed mate. Air-Con unit installed now? if i remember correctly, used to drive this bmw to work a few years ago, oh the memories lol
  3. Thanks mate, yeah it'll be that way it seems. The 325i is looking really nice, he would've definitely complimented your efforts for keeping it and adding your own touch to it. Has it been converted to manual? Or still running the Jatco?
  4. Thank you sir, i hope to revive this Project before the years end!! Lets just wait and see
  5. Hi all, well since my brother Arthur passed away in April of this year, he asked me to put his ride back to it's original state. I have yet to decide 100% on whether or not to continue with the Turbo build, in all honesty i am far from the imagination, and skill that my brother had in order to continue with everything he'd done before late last year. This year has been riddled with family and friends passing away left right and center, where to from here?? So yeah, denfinitely got me considering options now.. However, i will not rule out the dream, it would be amazing to complete this Project, it was a shared passion and dream as brothers. Currently nothing has changed in regards to the build, i have still kept his account running, no real need to shut it down just yet....?
  6. Sounds awesome mate, yeah in terms of the power gains, i'd suggest that you sell off the getrag 220's and use the profits to acquire a ZF e36 5spd kit , cost $1400 ATM from a guy i know in Auckland, getrag 220 won't last long at 400+ WHP. You can comfortably reach 450-540HP using N/V, or Vanos M50B28 Stroked. But running the M50B25 with stock internals will definitely handle the power gains of 350-400. I see you have the internals already out of the engine. Would be the right time to stroke it to 2.8 using M52B28 stock internals, these are already factory forged and easily handle your power goals, much stronger than M50B25 Internals. approx 500-ish HP safely running reasonable boost. Why i mention this is mainly because you will get more out of this build than you probably thought was possible all running stock gear, with small OEM upgrades as mentioned in this reply. There is one other guy on here that finished his E36 coupe, Garrett i think in the forced induction section, quite an impressive job he done, 460-480HP he made with similar setup.
  7. Looking awesome thus far, i assume "Vanos + T" means "turbo"? If so, what transmission setup are you running? Any goals in mind
  8. What brand is that? Front + Rears?
  9. I have Cosmos Black E36 1996 328i coupe, will be on the market soon within this month, just want to service it etc before letting out to a new owner, 131, XXX km's, Auto atm, let me know if you may be interested, can forward photos, regards Peter, located in Auckland.
  10. No way! That was a beautiful ride, sorry to hear miss bm, everytime i saw it that was a few months back, i would be like "wow" haha, and there i was driving my e36 lol, are you looking to replace it with another M///?
  11. off topic here miss bm, but i've seen this black e46 m3 cruising through Otahuhu with a blonde female driver LOL, it looks crazy with black on black OEM wheels, black paint, that isn't you? Anyway nice e36 for sale, hope it goes to a good home!
  12. Looks like you done a great job cleaning her up! Nice example, is it a wierd experience driving LHD manual on NZ roads?
  13. Very nice wagon bro! Seen it around here and there, not sure if that was during your ownership, but it looks very smart! ?
  14. Thank you for the help brent, i will attempt this repair, shall update the post in a day or so if i am successful, much appreciated!
  15. Hi brent, What does that mean? If you could shed some light on it. Is there a way i can overcome this issue without a specialist attending to it?
