Makeover is now well underway. Interior stripped and cleaned Full respray finished. Still to do: respray rims and convert to a 6 speed.

Try driving on the right (some where safe) and see if the same thing happens with the camber the other way. I'm not familiar with E34 front suspension at all - are there any bushes not replaced, or that were replaced, but with cheapo parts?

Don't worry about Blue 540i, he's a bit special! I think is car may have fallen of the jack stands while he was working on it....... But their is some sense it what he's saying....somewhere... I too am looking for what you are after and it is a situation where people are sitting on them for now. Just hold out and you will find one. I know a guy who picked up an Avus blue one in October of this year. Good luck!

Hey everyone spent time after work during the week and today fixing what needed to be fixed. Did control arms and bushings, installed the springs along with shocks, put front lip on, all break rotors done. Fitted new tyres, 225/40/18 on fronts & 235/40/18 on rear. Welded up this powerpro muffler and shhhyt it sounds really nice i took it for a spin haha. All that is left to do is fix her seat belt, wheel alignment and then Gods will it should pass We removed the wheels and have left the car looking standard and up on a jack. Okay so tomorrow morning we are going to fit the wheels and give her car a polish up, when she wakes up we will suprise her ! Cheers guys

EGS installed with Dinan performance transmission s/w upgrade... Wow! What a difference. Probably amplified because I've been running 740i s/w while my EGS went to California and back but either way the difference is night and day. Higher revs throughout the gears in Drive and Sport - the acceleration in Sport is epic - and the changes in manual, while not instantaneous like modern autos and SMG, are sooooo much better. Definitely firmer (in manual and auto) and way, way faster. Highly recommend this upgrade. Loving it. Will reset the adaptions as soon as possible and write a more complete report when I've had a chance to really test it.

+1 to what Ron said, they sound like they have no idea what they are doing Did you even get an alignment printout? and how the hell did they break a subframe bolt?, no reason why you would need to touch the subframe

Its a 3 series thing ae, & the smaller the motor, the more of a 3 series thing it is..........this is rather special all on its own tho............special, as in 'special needs'..........
