Yes it's a well specc'd car in good condition, and certainly at the top end of the market. The only point of contention would be where the top end is priced. Tec II kit is a great value adder, although it does look a bit odd with a "standard" spoiler on the boot and not the Tech II wing, or even a Tech I. The after market wheels do look great, but are possibly not everyone's cup of tea. Factory premiumn sounds (fader and door tweeters) plus the OBC are also good features and worth a higher asking price. Hard tops were mega-expensive when new, circa GBP 3k IIRC. I sold mine in the UK as I never used the car in winter so had no use for it (it was practically brand new) for nearly two grand (pounds). Most E30 Cabs are now sunny summer day drivers only so the demand for hard tops is practically nil, can pick them up for a couple of hundy now. As for the wind deflector - there is a reason why you don't see many of them around! Biggest detractors from the vehicle would be 1) it's an auto which in an E30 is not a good box, even with the selector switch thingy which this has 2) the interior colour - yes it's leather and in great nick, but beige is not a great look for most people look for an E30 'vert these days. If you are in no rush to sell then that is great, the right buyer will come along eventually.

Awesome work. I usually find E46 Coupes to look weird, but this looks tits!

No idea, there's plenty of folk on here that have done E30-M5x swaps, they're not too hard to find either. M50B25 would be a poorer engine choice c/o less torque and being a cast iron block it adds another 60(?) kgs over the all alloy M52. Heavier + less torque seems counter-intuitive to me. I'm not claiming to be an E30 guru, just relaying what other guys round here have been up to. Or pay heed to crunchys comment. He knows a thing or two about FI M40s & M50s. Search the forum dude, there's plenty of kick ass projects on here to draw inspiration from Come to think of it, what were the final numbers from your M4x Crunchy? Somewhere north of 300bhp, wasn't it?

Tonight Brendon and I converted the MSS50 ECU to South African software flash. This deletes the Secondary Air Pump software as we removed the SAP and blanked it off with the SA OEM blanking plate when we put this motor back together. Also the car in now coded to a SA S50B32 E36 instead of a 318ti when we first coded the car aligning the EWS with a donor EWS ... my ego feels a tad better haha Cold starts will now be smoother. It also drive a tad smoother now which is nice. yay
