Kia ora team, My name is Ryan and I am a long term car enthusiast and recently found lover for all BMW's. It started late last year with me wanting a new tidy daily, something not Japanese. I flew up to Auckland and picked up my new BMW 2007 E90 6-speed manual 320i and drove it back to Christchurch. Being the male I am, I found the need to pick up a spanner so two months ago I jumped on a bus and went to the Nelson region to purchase my E30 1987 PFL coupe running a auto 1.8ltr m10. I personally love the m10, such an underrated engine that has a lot of potential and very strong from factory. Current plans are manual conversion, install my adjustable suspension and general tidy up / replacing tarnished parts with OEM factory. I am excited to learn and make new friends along the way! Got a little more done on the 'diffuser' Still needs final sand and paint obviously, plus some mesh panels on the side exhaust sections. Coming together alright though I reckon.

No fold-down seats - mine comes with the big barrier between the boot and rear seats. I've managed to 'fix' this now with brute force. The hook or whatever must have gotten stuck inside when I turned the key to the right. I had to hold down the electric boot button and push the bootlid upwards with a lot of force, which managed to loosen the lock enough for me to turn it back into position with the key. After that everything worked as usual. Thanks for the responses guys.

Not that much.? My fallback is to get a generic quieter muffler installed this week. At around $350 for a new one, all in. I just had this fantasy someone would have their stock muffler laying around after having had it replaced with something loud themselves.

Added child seat tethers and child restraint seat belts in the rear. Good god, removing the rear parcel shelf is a pain in the ass. I have a sunshade in the rear that makes it even more of a pain in the ass!

on Friday, I took the e60 along with #1 son to BM World, and scored some 'bits' (door seals, rear seat double-lighter, and door switch trim). We had an excellent chin-wag with Brent too. Then we went for a tour through the country to Clevedon, following a mate in his CLK55. It's a good part of the world out there; if I was organising a roadie in Auckland I'd consider the Clevedon Hotel as a lunch stop on a good weather day.

The vehicle: e46/3 M56 SULEV with ZPP, ZSP, ZCP, and Nav Retrofits: City lights Rear Fogs rear Camera OEM EU TV Tuner, with 5v converted home ATSC dtv converter for off air channel reception. Clear rear lights and side Indicators. Eurotray Factory aux input fitted to inside of eurotray pen holder. Roof racks removed $5 alarm siren e65 electrochromatic mirror with Homelink TCU with BT replaced non BT TCU A lot of coding done!

Thanks Olaf! Every few years they change em! I like these the best. Simple. The rims are the original style 119s that came on the 2004+ sport package. Ive noticed if I want to find Touring info and inspiration I generally need to look abroad where tourings are more plentiful! I did do an 07 or 08 e65 Gentex EC rearview with Homelink which I forgot to list also, only difficulty was pulling the SOS wiring from the connector to not Fry the mirror, and grinding down the base protrusions on the mirror a bit. Way better than the old magnetti Marelli SoS mirror, and the stubby clown nose doesn't interfere with my vision
