1 pointHey all, Currently gathering parts for an NBT conversion on the 130i so thought I would roll it all into one post, I'm in search of: An E8x CIC display housing/hood (or full display with broken screen) An Fxx 8.8" NBT display (Don't mind wether it is touchscreen or not) And a CIC iDrive faceplate from an E8x or E9x CIC system (Or an early facelift ccc system with a single cd slot) Cheers!

1 pointThe plinth is attached with self tapping screws, that's as flush as it gets. Frame is a lot tidier now though. I couldn't source the correct screws for the frame but was taking the car in for a service anyway so the mechanic replaced them with the correct screws while he was at it.

1 pointE30 is a better-looking car, imho. E36 is quite possibly a better car (interior trim excepted.) M44 in an E30 is a fabulous performance change. M43 in an E30 provides better performance than most E30 4-cylinder engines, is reliable, and economical. (But no-one does this!) I do feel an E30 with a 4-cylinder engine is sportier, and with a 6-cylinder engine is more suited as a lovely cruiser. Just a weight distribution thing. And I know many people will disagree.

1 pointEV company car for the win! Zero fuel bill, RUCs paid. Also next to no brake dust as regen braking is used 99% of the time for single pedal driving (wonder what old 3pedals would have to say about that) so don’t have to clean alloys that often. Amongst other things 😜
