Went to buy it to do a 130i manual drivetrain swap. The car was in a lot worse condition than described. The entire car has bad clear coat chipping and the underside is covered in rust, like bad rust the brake rotors wouldn't even be usable it's that bad. At the time he didn't even have on his listing that the interior was covered in mold and it was missing the key. He even tried to convince me that the clear coat was fine and he showed pictures of it after he had washed it while it was still wet. He was pissed that I didn't take it, and couldn't believe that I made a 12 hour round trip drive and wasn't going to take it.

What's the motor? M62, S62? Trivial for you: The headlights are from a Mini, swapped left for right and right for left.

Within the next couple of weeks I'll be listing a NOS & NIB original BMWP E87/1 Aero Spoiler (primed, never painted) here on BS, It will be a package sale with a Maxton Design spoiler extension, also brand new. I won't split (but of course you can if you buy it), and it won't be a cheap combo, but it will go up here first in the FS section, and I'll pop a note in this thread also. Put your thinking caps on if it's something you might be interested in, it may well go quickly so you'll want to be prepared. No need to try and snag it early, I won't entertain pre-offers (okay, if you offer $1000+ I might fold! 😂). I need to buy a CS bonnet for my M2 and someone here needs to help me do that! Edit: why not list it now? I don't have pics and need to follow the rules.

Saw the same issue on the BabyBMW site. Apparently there are a couple of bungs under the car that can be removed to let the water out. Will be checking mine when I change the shocks over in the next couple of weeks.

For redundancy there are a couple of bungs below the Taillight gaskets you can put some holes in to let water drain out, there's probably a piece of moulded polystyrene covering them. The vents in that area can also leak from the gaskets.

Rear subframe prepared and ready to go in. Treated the surface rust spots were the weld lines were and painted any gaps in the paint, low effort compared to refinishing the whole thing but should definitely prevent further rust. Installed all the new bits as well, aluminum subframe bushings, super pro diff bushings, ball joints in the trailing arm, M3 spring arms, hard race toe arms, SPL eccentric lockout kit and new knuckle side bolts.
