sounds like the dead lock is on and the locking actuator has failed , or the latch itself , try and clip the locking actutator off the latch and operate levers or the key lever to see if it unlocks

You could run wasted spark with just the trigger wheel off the crank and no dizzy or cylinder ID sensor. If you want to run sequential fuel or igniton then you'll need a cam position sensor. Idle control the M20 runs a 3 wire bosch idle valve, the link should be able to control. Crash / roll protection; not exactly the same but most ECU's and im sure the link will to, will switch the fuel pump off when the engine isnt running.. i.e crashed and turned ignition off or engine stalled. Not fool proof, but its there. aircon control it can take an input and will increase idle speed. The M20 generally has just a wot/idle switch, not a potentiometer style throttle posistion sensor which you'll want. The 6 wire TPS some e30's with the EGS auto trans had one thatll bolt straight up. or, make an adaptor plate and fit a E36 one.

The MHD OTS maps imo are conservative - you'll be fine with the stage1 98 map , but as always when you change stuff up , just log for awhile and confirm everything is looking right Ya that sucks about the earlier 06/07 models not being able to use the Alpina flash - if you can get this TCU flash , it will be such a huge difference as the stock one is soo laggy imo XHP is the new option for the auto guys , not sure what the deal is with the earlier years (06/07) - you can download the app on the device you're using for MHD app - connect up to the car , run the app and connect - will show what maps/options are available

Seen a few Aussie companies selling their goods on TM lately, especially in the MB parts section, they list about a thousand of the same item (eg three pages full of brake pads), same picture and description, only thing that differs is the "model" they put in the header. Clogs up the entire section. Browsing on the TM app is near impossible, used to be able to file a complaint about it, but that options been removed now.

Have seen two stunning E34's, a white 540i with a nice exhaust note in Moray Place and a light blue one with a M Sport badge on the front grill in South D, looked nice and think it had throwing star rims. Seen quite A few nice Bimmer's out and about lately and since we've had the 545i my 8 and 10 year old girls are noticing them and starting to call the correct series;-) haha I see this corker M3 in town most days: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1290517123

Thanks!! I have requested to join them all!! I would have liked to have found a coupe for my son but they are always that much more in price. Besides he can't have the best car on the planet for his first car!! ;P

Rant marked 1/10. Lack of extreme hyperbole, absence of excessive swearing and proper spelling all counted against. You also left out 'dont you know who I am'.
