Fair enough, but you don't want it to grenade and all the investment is gone anyway. Can't you get cheap motronic ecu/loom from bimmersport members?

Buy an old E30 M3 shell and build a Right Hand Drive version of that car, nice project.

Alpina B6s upgraded to Bi-Turbo setup. (E30 M3 SHELL)
mr E34 replied to mr E34's topic in General Discussion
If you turbo that car Brent don't go overboard, sometimes LESS is MORE. Go for Alpina spec's, 360bhp@ flywheel & 550nm torque. It would be balanced and still slaughter virtually anything, otherwise you run into too many other destruction issues which cost big in upgrades.Try & do it like the factory would, quality. When can you have it ready???????? -

Looks like an Alpina 'Factory' project, where do i get one? -
Looks like a total fit out of the E34 Bi-Turbo into Alpina B6s Shell. Includes E34 interior upgrade (air con, obc, etc etc) Stunning job. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.ph...7500&page=6

You NEED that air box immediatley!

Nice project! If you upgrade to Motronic i would recommend Mapecu 2, remove AFM and the piggyback ecu will give you complete control over fuel delivery, retard/advance on spark timing. Custom mapping is the only way to go, ensure max performance & reliability. (unless you go full aftermarket ecu set up) Check out this dudes car, E30 M3 shell(Alpina B6s) fitted with Alpina M30 Bi-Turbo engine + interior upgrade. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.ph...7500&page=6

Welcome Miss E36. Mr E34. -
I'll take the E28 Alpina (red car), put it on a transporter immediately! Are any of those cars suitable for DAILY DRIVERS? Hard work with big engines/manual/fuel costs. E34 540i auto? Dunno, tricky when you are using it as a daily.

MMmmm, buying your dream car, sometimes reality isn't as good as the dream! Good luck, this E30 looks sharp! I remember Chris over at Bavarian, didn't he become a fire fighter?

With age i ignore all dopey laws, oops is that a warning.
-
I think you multiply the PS figure x .98, should look it up on the net. Factory figures are at the flywheel, not RWHP. Dyno only approx.

Nice set of wheels Cain, the oil burner is the way to go.
-
Nice E34 Brent, i have all the history on that car if you need it. You may need a set of headers now!

Interested in Diesel E46 Power?? Read This.

Looks like a nice car & not way overpriced when you consider new alloys/ leather etc etc. Good luck, hopefully it drives well & is a GOOD one.
-
Recycling my thread, maybe i'll get lucky! Not many E34 M30 fans out there.
-
pm david on bimmersport, remember an old thread where he had cam grind done in NZ.Cheap price.
-
I'll remember that! Seriously the headers Wayne showed me were top notch, are you getting some ? Who would do the complete exhaust system, have you found anyone?
-
Thru my older eyes it looks crap. Why pay hommage to a stillborn, ended up at procar racers before F1. Rarity doesn't change history.
-
There would have to be extra in the dowry to cover this.
-
Don't forget my 10% contact fee.
-
The FAMILY is looking for an accountant, maybe we could come to an arrangement with your daughter/ my son.Naturally there would have to be a dowry on your part Glenn.(the female side of the arrangement).
