The look YOU want also comes down to cost, new they are too pricey. http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bmw_alloy...iginal_wheel_94

Just run around in them for a week or two, you should know if you like them by then.In the photos they still look good & imo better than your old wheels.(my eyes are alot older than yours, i don't see what you see!)

Remember Simon, you have to drive the car & if not sure/don't like that look just flick them off. The 18" you have are not the same deep dish as my 17" Classics, some people say 17" is the largest size the E34 looks comfortable on?? You know what happens when you ask for an opinion, 50 diff answers!

Cars with Alpina Alloys don't look as aggressive like your old wheels.Gallery shot 04 looks stunning from that rear angle, probably take time for you to appreciate the look. ALPINA=SUBTLE CLASS. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=si&img=132

I'm sure i saw this car for sale in Newmaket Dealer for $50k 2 years ago. Yeah no R/H E30 M3's left the factory. There is a genuine Hartge E30 M3 on Pistonheads which has the M5 3.6 engine, 20,000 GBP. For your interest. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/387813.htm

Just stop into Claytons, be easiest.

I'll take your fuel hungry car off you and swap for a Toyota Corolla, Toyota's design brief is to make economy top priority.
-
Connector from M20 AFM the same, (easier to find) probably alot of other early AFM use same connector.Brent would know.

Hows the 850csi coming along?? Have you tried stretching its legs?(at speed)
-
Don't know over the shore, but i used Sharrock engineering in Manukau. They just repair/straighten/paint alloys.

These little turds should be shot execution style. A bit hard to do in this PC bull world.

No good for nipping around Auck traffic, big heavy cars use fuel and at $7.50-$8.00 a gallon you can't drive far on that gallon. Also what Will was saying about maintenance applies, $2500 for timing chain work??? not sure, someone will know, big job i think. Does anyone know if you can drop in the later 4.4ltr in an E34 (to replace 4ltr) What about wiring/ecu etc.

Thats a lot of new rules! Dunno how they are going to get those fragile boxes to last 4 races.

Nice 6 series, black is it! Good to see some money spent on yourself, well done.

You wouldn't buy for a daily driver & you couldn't buy an E30 M3 with this mileage/condition for this money. -
