I wouldn't worry about the dyno hp reading as a gain is a gain. On the dyno I use the only m42/m44 I seen over 100hp atw have been manual ones. The US forums say a good one is around the 115hp mark but I have never seen it.

Some of the panels could do with a tidy up, but I thought if he sticks with it we'll get plenty of chances to repaint them haha

Yes I have used sr20 pistons. Not the engine in the picture, I just put on the itb's because I got sick of the supercharger whine.

Took the car to the SNZ trackday at Taupo on the weekend. It seem to go Ok, the springs are a bit soft for the track but that was ok as I had some road tyres on it anyway. Its got an oil leak from around the bell housing, I think it may be from the flywheel bolts

I got the car going today with a replacement ecu. Its got basic tune so far. The brakes are a bit touchy, very easy to lock up

Four pots mounted (yes its upside down, I can't find the other one) Close but they fit inside a 15" wheel

You could be right there. I just went a a bit softer for hillclimbs and club events were the surface is not always flat. Can always change if need be.

A bit of an update. Not to much progress Took the car for a wof, Failed on drivers seat belt , rear seat belt, no horn button, no door panels and strangely enough the supercharger. Seat belts fixed, horn works, door panels are getting made out of fiberglass, and I'm going to unbolt the supercharger to get a wof. Some XYZ suspension has been ordered, And a friend at BNT is going to sort me out some better brake pads. I have made some panels for behind the bumper to help duct the air into the radiator a little better, as the car had nothing at all Mounted a isolating switch, starter button, and some extra switches to help control the extra power
