Have a great day From Glenn & the Team
  2. HP never equates to speed or acceleration.. Torque / power to weight ratio gives you acceleration. Driveability for a road vehicle is another equasion. 2,000hp in a 52 ton vehicle will never make a dragster even with huge torque figures
  3. Its quite easy actually...theres always a trail. Some people think that when they get on the internet and use a nic name they are invicible.. we have his wifes/partner ? name & email addy, his mothers addresss, his address, his mbl phone number & his mothers number. And his name wasnt even on the owners registration papers.... all in 2 days. Hope he has good hiding place & a butt plug

  22. I'm running E36 328 front callipers & rotors, E36 318TI rear callipers and standard non ventilated discs on the rear with standard OEM pads all round on mine and have had no problems. I drive the car very hard at times and braking is never an issue. Yet to check it out in track conditions, which I'm hoping to do this Friday out at Puke. Going to E46 330 upgrade for a road car is probably unnecessary and as someone else has already said, you will need carriers, callipers, rotors and pads. However... if thats what you want....why not....go for it. I was going to do it... but dont find it necessary... why waste $$$$. Even the standard rear solid discs on the 318TI dont give me any problems. Most of the braking is taken up on the front anyway. I've gone through 2 sets of standard pads on the front now and the rear pads are only half worn since doing the M52B28 conversion and the car has done 24k in that time. They are due to be changed now and I'm thinking of going Brembo slotted and drilled rotors up front and retain OEM pads.
  23. It could be the rear diff mount... Bring it over and let me check it for you

    Did you know?

Just as well you found it. I hope you checked them all and refitted them with thread lock. Subaru's are renowned for doing this as well. E30 M40 drop all the internal sump bolts in to the lower sump pan as well causing airation of the oil which causes hydraulic lifter noise and eventually destroys the camshafts. We wont do a camshaft or lifter job on a M40 without doing the sump gasket as well on these. The gasket splits between the bolt holes on the oil gallery for the oil pick up which causes the oil pump to suck air causing the problem.
