10w40 or 15w40 either will be fine. Any well branded oil is fine....we use ELF products here

Any exhaust shop can do it for you. On your car you can take the cat out without any problems and just fit a coby bullet in it's place about $150
-
So...you tried it Graham ??

I was talking (mullet bait) as in fishing as a joke.... how did it deteriorate to playing with little boys or flirting ???? Air heads maybe ??

"CAUGHT" ........ more spice to follow

I'm still an old fart member... dont have a bike now. The last bike I had was a modified Ducati ST2 1999 model. My reaction times have slowed and I nearly got taken out twice (not my fault) so I sold it. I've riden bikes all my life. Sadly now have given them a miss

Good to see its all sorted now Martyn.... no issues with the camber sensor either ??

Get it checked ...the cat convertor is probably blocked

Yes it is a chain drive motor, first of the S4's with V8 using the newer BBK chain driven motor Enjoy BTW: You cant remove the cats on that car. It has pre cat & after cat oxygen sensors and must have cats -

How do you divide $200,000 by 2 in 5 seconds ?? > > > > > > > > >

No...your warranty would minimise repair costs... I would still allow at least $2000-$3000 a year for upkeep on the car. Servicing, brakes, tyres etc. If it costs lest all the better... but I still would factor that figure if I was considering purchasing an E65
-
Yes it would. Your warranty will cover the failure of components, but not maintanence related items
-
$1000 a year for your 318Ti would be minimum.. I would allow $1500-$2000 a year if I was asked As for a 730 I or 735 I... I would allow around $4,000 a year for servicing & maintanence However, it could be lower or higher depending on the condition and previous maintanence that has been carried out by previous owners. If you are looking at changing vehicles, make sure you get it checked thoroughly by a dealer or a BMW specialist only. Dont use anyone else for a prepurchase inspection.

You could also try a sparky who is a Bosch Agent down there. Bosch KTS diagnostics should find the problem. Its going to be either a sensor fault ie: camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, air mass sensor, air leak, or the crankcase ventilator valve. Definately not DIY

Thanks Andy....youve been able to give me a pretty good handfull of nails so far......really appreciate it. I'm talking to Car Valuations NZ Ltd today...they are Auto Private Investigators... I will also talk to the police
-
Outwardly the car seems fine and you havent experienced any problems... we'll do a service and give you a list of what needs and what might need to done. Keep the chin up and enjoy driving. Hopefully all is well and you'll continue to enjoy the vehicle... BMW's Rule

We dont know 018 Telecom directy said they have no listing for such a person in Taupo. There is no such business in Taupo listed as Jade Auto Services Ltd. We tried ringing the phone numbers that worked yesterday (regarding the seller), I worked and we got hung up on...the other no longer works... suspiscious ??? .... Maybe I shoud have tried Shadee Auto Services Ltd ?? Edit: The forgery also mentions Valvoline 15w40...we use ELF products....always have 2nd Edit: The invoice is for labour only...no mention of parts. Just Labour, Dyno charges and $70 petrol + Gst ????
