ELF recommend 10w40 semi synthetic youll need 7.25-7.5 litres If the trans has longlife oil you will need to change it @ 100,000km. You can do it earlier if you want with new filter and pan gasket...you will need between 4-5litres if changing the filter and allowing it to drain for half an hour to allow the torque convertor to drain. The oil type will be on a sticker on the pan. Unless you have the correct type of filler (done from underneath the car) and your not sure how to do it....get a professional to do it for you. The transmission will take either G3 full synthetic or G3LL full synthetic (longlife or ESSO oil)

Just give Ben a call

Alot of the after market lights dont fit properly either and you might end up with water leaking into your boot as well

I got Navcoder from Jochen over the weekend, just got to make the ibus interface. Was told it was too earlier model to do this. Will try it later when I get the interface done though. In the meantime we just hard wired the angel eyes with an independant switch.

I am a licensed firearms holder. And the inference of carrying firearms in a vehicle is ridiculous. Gun racks are not permitted in vehicles to carry firearms on public roads or in public areas. The firearm can be carried if made safe and inopperable and must be locked in the boot and the ammunition carried seperately. Technically, you should have a secure guncase in the vehicle as most sencible hunters do. Carrying a concealed working firearm in a vehicle or on you is an offence under the firearms act. More of an offence if it is loaded. GUNS ARE NOT TOYS

Just thought I would put a plug in here. Ben has just done an E32 for a customer. Excellent job and very, very reasonably priced. Ben's Auto Trimmers 638A Pakuranga Highway Howick Auckland Ph. (09) 5378141 Mbl. 0272942135 Email: [email protected]

Not the wisest thing to be saying on a forum....even if your only joking

I should have elaberated a bit more for him Jochen. On an E38 pure violet goes from the ignition switch down to the fuse box on the right hand side of the steering column, inside the small compartment in the under dash panel. You can then just pick up on any fused AC supply from there. Thats if he wants it on the R/H side. Or do what endors3series suggested

Yes his car is pre F/L and hes fitted a F/L pump

I wouldve thought it would be on the news: lady525 comes to Auckland

Loosen the cable lock nut. Put the gearlever in park and move the selector arm to park on the gearbox. Tighten the lock nut and try it again. Take safety precautions doing this with the car on axle stands.

Should be OK..give me a call tomorrow at work
-
Yes you need it...yes you brought the wrong pump

Try ATP in Penrose for filter & pan gasket The pan has 2 inhex plugs on the bottom..the small one is the drain plug...the large one is the filler and level tube E34 vented rotor should be either 24mm or 20.4mm. It should be written on the rotor unless theyre the chinese ones. I could be wrong as I dont have all my info here at home on this computer. Whats the chassis # ??
