  1. Might pay to have a read through my build threads Brent. Using a M3 engine will be quite different in alot of respect but most of the other stuff will be the same. I can help out and talk some of it through though. You might have quite a few different issues than I had though. Hairdressers cars are much more complicated than the average crap E36 ... you still coming tomorrow ??
  2. I 'm not sure...maybe a wiring loom swap with the cluster.. ASC isn't a problem.. do a bit more research on the other forum. I know the pin config is different on the Ti's for the cluster... been there
  3. Battery can always go into the boot ( hairdryer / curler space)
  4. Search around their site... the answer should be there.. or do it the "kiwi" way.. without using hammers
  5. Yes I know that Boris... I also do my own smoking and make my own bacon... remember ?... there is a deli side to me
  6. Go for it Brent .. there is a huge following in the states doing this.. heaps of info & good advice... don't join up or go in there without owning a Ti or compact though http://www.318ti.org/forum/index.php
  7. You might also find that it has a broken stud in the head (a common E30 problem) which will require removing the exhaust manifold to repair.
  8. Chicks... chooks... there's always a mess... at least I had a foil plate
  9. You must jack more Graham (joke)... no offence intended
  10. I've stripped and rebuilt mine twice in the last 6 years... they just need a little bit of TLC and a few $$$ to keep them working and doing the job properly. I've also done a few mods which helps as well... but this is a BMW forum...not a (......) or BBQ forum
  11. Canadian Broil King.. yes theyre great. I modified mine for special rotisserie spit.
  12. Did this 2 weeks ago when we had family over for my daughters birthday. You can buy the stands from Mitre 10. 1/3 can of beer per chook with a couple of cloves of garlic in each can. Salt & pepper the outside. I also use Tuscan seasoning. Cook for 1.5hrs @ 200'C (400'F). Keep an eye on them till the outer skin goes nice and crisp after the 1.5 hours. Best done on a BBQ like I've got and use the foil trays to stop them catching fire. Absolutely beatifull way to cook a few chooks BTW: My brother did the captions
  13. Have a great day Darren From Glenn & the Team
  14. Are the wheels hubcentric ?? or have you lost the hubcentric ring ??
  15. Rolands old car. If you want a look come in tomorrow or Friday
  16. I also have 2 sets of rear camber / toe plates from my project thread if anyone is interested $120 a set
  17. For $500 you get a second hand crankshaft, conrods & pistons with a 2nd hand engine block from a M54B30 with naturaly worn rings & bearings. The original motor apparently was overheated and the block was purchased knowing that. The 2nd hand M50B25 block also had a blown headgasket and I was using the block as a project mok up. If I was continuing with the project I would be polishing, measuring and replacing rings, bearings etc as my intention was to go from 84mm bore to 86.5 +50... thats another story though
  18. nzbmrboi.... $900 You won
  19. Asking $500.. comes with M50B52 Vanos block as well as the M54 block
  20. Both your quotes are correct (law) I thought it was 25%
  21. It's only necessary if there is more than a 25% increase in HP. Then there is also the question of other mods.
  22. Alcohol & Drugs cause that memory loss
  23. Have a great day Dave From Glenn & the Team
