  2. Thats a vane type AFM not MAF. It may have a sticky vane ...has anyone checked that ? Has fuel pressure & flow been checked ? I'd also check and make sure the cat isn't blocked as well.

  4. Sounds very much like a MAF sensor issue... it won't throw an error code. What location are you in ?

  16. If the climate air and cigarette lighters work, I'd be checking power supply at the ignition switch. With ignition off, key out, the violet wire on the ignition switch should not be live.
  17. Did you do it this way ? 1, using a key unlock the vehicle, get in and close door. 2, put the key into the ignition and turn to position 2, wait for 5 secs and then back to off. 3. remove key 4. point the key toward red "clown nose" 5. hold unlock rectangle button 6. press lock round button 3 times (while still holding the unlock button) 7. release the unlock button 8. At this point, you'll notice the red led on key flashes 9. press the unlock button 10. car will lock and unlock to indicate successful association 11. repeat 4-7 for 2nd key Heres the link http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=19404
  18. The Vanos fault code may or may not be an issue. From your description I'm sure you have a serious transmission fault. I'd get it checked down there localy by someone who knows what they are doing. Some of the Hamy guys should be able to steer you in the right direction. Give Kerry a ring at Mosens
  19. The body systems (ECU'S) are seperate to the drive systems. You only have to worry about DME, EGS & ABS... ASC is not a problem unless the M3 has ASC
  20. Are you sure it's the rack ?... who checked it for you ??... some of the aftermarket lower control arms have given problems causing the steering to jam or get very hard to turn
