So I think Ive found out when my battery is draining but I cant really find anything on the web. My battery has been fine the last couple of weeks but today again it was dead when I tried to start it. Now each time this has happened it been when Ive left the keys in the ignition to either clean it or load it up or something. It doesnt need to be too long either as today was only enough time for me to clean all the wheels. Has anyone heard anything about the key being left in the ignition draining the battery or have any ideas on what it could be?

Any DIY store will have it Nick. Made by 3m I think.

Sorry mate, I dont like either of them (whether they are upside down or not) I think there is just too much of a gap between the bonnet and the eyelids meaning you have a huge black line separating them and I think thats what does it for me.

Well State werent interested in letting us pick who we took the car too and insisted on it going to a specific place. Of course I took the car back when I wasnt happy with the work done but they refused to deal with us saying it all had to come through State. State on the other hand blamed the body shop and said we should take it up with them. In the end we got fed up, sold the car and took our business elsewhere.

I agree. We had our Scooby with them and when it got hit the repairs were terrible.

The ///m badge should sit in a small recess too. Often the replicas just have it stuck on the flat surface of the rim.

Mate you got done TWICE in five minutes.....how is that a slip up?You know the car is fast and yet you were still WAY over the limit. Not just a little bit but a lot. I appreciate you regret it and I think you mentioned that in the thread when you originally lost your license. But 'sorry officer my car is just too fast' is a terrible excuse.

Mate, if youve got money for a strut brace and wheels then you have money for the suspension. Do it right or not at all. Talk nicely to our sponsors and you'll get yourself a great deal.

On a 20 year old car you probably want to sort out new shocks and springs first.

Its called class and sophistication Gus There is nothing like arriving somewhere in a 7

But you wouldnt consider slowing down Im not here to start a war, but surely you had several warnings and yet you still continued to drive over the speed limit.

Now thats what I call a for sale advert.....take note people. Good luck with the sale Nick.

I wouldnt have thought you'd need anything Marty, arent they the same hub size? Its only e39's that are different meaning you'd need the rings.

I think I was on my UK license for about 18 months when we first got back. Ive had friends over from the UK and never had any trouble putting them on my insurance. I was with State at the time too. I still dont understand the benefit of the 'give way to the right turning traffic' rule. There are too many places in Wellington where it just blocks the entire road and I doubt it would cause too much trouble if they just dropped it altogether.

Koss portapro....FTW. Nothing else comes close.....not even my $700 Bose QuietComforts can match the sound quality the Koss' offer.

Right, weve all had our fun, JP had sorted us out with a price so lets get his car sold.

Anyone got either of these for sale before I slip them into an order from the UK?

Does anyone know how this is done ?

Something else Ive just thought about is that the remote has been a little odd recently too. Ive needed to be very close to the car pointing directly at the clown nose rather than being able to open the car from 20 yards previously randomly pointing at the front screen.

Is the indicator switch flicked 'up' any further than normal ? On some models you could push it higher than normal to leave your side lights on for when you'd parked on the wrong side of the road. An awful description but I doubt its valid because it wouldnt be the highbeam. Ive got a set of standard headlights for sale if you need them

No sunroof means I could fit into it !

Yep, we sorted that one out a few weeks ago. Widescreen is on the list but Alpina's, tyres and angel eye upgrades beat it Thats my first plan of attack Will have a look at that on the weekend too. Its the original Jap radio that came with the car (Feb 2000 build date I think). I haven't upgraded it to a european one because it gets the only two radio stations we listen to anyway.
