Does the euro plate holder have a part number on it Tony ? I doubt its universal and fits the e39 but I have to ask just in case
-
Max, are any of the footballs size 3 ? I just bought an ergo keyboard yesterday
-
Only >2500 ?!?! Have a good day my friend.

I dont think the police will give a rats ar$e about either of your points. Your car is easily identifiable and you have obviously lost traction for an extended period of time (or whatever the wording is).But whatever, its your money paying the fine.
-
Well obviously that depends on the size of the bottle Westy

HOT.....'nuff said.

What a shame, looks like it was pretty nice. Do you have any photos of it before the crash ?

Thanks Nick, so everyone selling 'celis' lights that are just the lenses are having us on then Whatever it is the dealer is selling, I think Ill stick to the red tint I have left over from the e30 rears and save my $1200 for something else.
-
I didnt think the e39 used LEDS. The 'celis' part was basically a clear/crystal rear lense.

Come on people, if its not safe to open please let us know in advance Some of us have very strict internet standards to stay on the right side of.

I could be wrong, but isnt the fine in Germany proportional to the individuals income ? I know its in one of the European nations, just cant remember which one. Id be surprised if the cameras where that focused on the left that they couldnt see a face on the right though.

Sheyton, this was discussed only last week mate. Does no-one use the search function any more ?
-
You only need to post the question once my friend. Ive deleted the other threads and left this one here because its at least in the appropriate section.
-
Nope, once youve messed with it its no longer of interest to me. Just my opinion of course and if you want to do it then go right ahead, but if you have the 325 running gear why no just stick it into a 318 shell or something. Why butcher a 318is to do it ?
-
With only and handfull of genuine 318is' left you would be mad to mess with one. Like the others I wouldnt touch an 'is' if it had been messed about with.

The quality of the people doing the testing leaves a lot to be desired doesnt it. Ive seen several cars recently with hacked up rear shelves and they all either have WOF's or the owner has said he has never had a problem getting one. My touring yesterday failed a WOF because of its wiper blades which surprised me because I always insist that my windscreen is spotless and the blades never have any trouble, but they failed to notice the left rear brake light was out.....even though the car tells you that the moment you turn the key !!!!

Is New Zealand Broadband Internet too EXPENSIVE?
martyyn replied to international's topic in Off-Topic
Hold on a minute here. Before you all start cutting Telecom to pieces take a moment to think about how they ended up in this position. They were owned by the state and therefore competition was not very forthcoming. Through no fault of their own they were sold off (I cant remember which govt took the money but I have my ideas!) and so it became an open market of 'one'. However no-one else wanted to invest in telecommunication infrastructure in NZ because its too expensive to build new networks for a paltry 4 million people so instead they started to cry about it all being a little unfair. But why should a company be forced to GIVE AWAY its infrastructure to its competition? Telecom is a company looking after its share holders. Just like EVERY OTHER company in the world so why are people surprised that they do whats best for them and not for the consumer? The commerce commision (I think) decided that it wasnt fair and that Telecom should wholesale its back end to anyone who wanted it and that those wholesalers should pay less than what Telecom can charge. I wonder what a mechanic would say if I all of a sudden I had the right to come into his workshop, use his tools and his employees but only pay him 15% less of what he was charging his customers whilst I sit in his office drinking coffee all day taking his customers because I charge 5% less than he does making a healthy 10% profit for doing nothing. Id love to know how many of you who are still Telecom customers even though you hate them so much. There are lots of reasons why unlimited access on Telecom failed. One was because they honestly didnt think that so many people would take it up, the other was thanks to the geeks who started downloading 600Gb of pr0n a month. This doesnt mean I dont think we pay too much, because I do. When compared to the rest of the world, NZ still pays horrific amounts for its telecommunications but thats life. Everyone thought Vodafone would come in and blow the market wide open. But they knew a sure thing when they saw it and simply put their prices very slightly under Telecoms in order to make the same sort of profits ! -
Ive considered the msport theme yes, but there are so many e39's with the full body kit on now that its getting a little boring. Plus the cost of getting the parts is a little over the top. Ive got my eyes out around the UK for an Alpina front skirt so will try for one of those first. The 1200 was just for a set of clear rears, no ballasts needed back there. I only paid 400 for the clears on my 7.

Ill give it a couple of days to settle but I may then give you a ring. The guys doing the work said there was nothing under there to adjust and even spent several hours on the web themselves to see what the story was.The car is presently 59cm on all four corner between bottom of the wheel arch and bottom lip of the alloy, so flat all around. Ill see how it goes and move on from there. I was hoping for another cm or two but we'll see.
-
Its not a motorsport (at least I dont think so) but this cant be far off the mark Linky link
-
Now I have the Alpinas on I have no need for the old standard alloys. TradeMe Three are absolutely mint, the fourth has a small bit of kerb rash on it. Front tyres are still very good, the rears will probably need replacing. Come on people, help me fund the next phase to the project

That 330i has been on for months, so he must be getting desperate for a $1 reserve. I see one of the repo cars 330is has just been offered for 14.5k....they are certainly coming down in price.
