What kind of starter motor do you need bro? I have a couple lying around, am pretty sure one is an early m20 light one, and another is an m42 ( I think) you can have them if you want to come and grab them.

Nah, piston design was wrong and demo'd the valve.

Swore a whole lot after I took the head off the M50. 4 pistons, 4 valves, head and MLS head gasket are forked. Gonna be a whole lotta work and $$ to do before the season starts again.

As per title. I need an m50b20 non vanos head, can be stripped to just the bare head but need the early style one with the 7mm valve stems. Has to be in good nick ie not cracked etc. Cheers

God that looks terrible.

Looks like it was a dodgy valve. Maybe manufactured wrong or something... the collets and retainers/springs are all in tact and cams etc are all fine. Looks like its just crapped out and dropped onto the piston...destroying everything else in it's path.
